Legal framework for using the 4Drive Sri Lanka platform

Welcome to 4Drive Sri Lanka. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.
4Drive Sri Lanka operates as an information and booking platform that connects travellers with independent local vehicle suppliers across Sri Lanka. We do not own, operate, or maintain any vehicles. Our role is strictly that of an intermediary facilitating the connection between you and the supplier.
All vehicles are provided by third-party companies. Each supplier sets its own policies, vehicle condition standards, and operational procedures. The legal agreement for your reservation exists directly between you and the supplier whose name appears on your booking voucher.
When you complete a reservation through our platform, you receive a voucher detailing your booking. The advance payment processed online secures your reservation. Full payment terms, deposit requirements at pick-up, and accepted payment methods are determined by the supplier and specified in your voucher documentation.
Modifications or cancellations follow the supplier's policy outlined at the time of booking. Refund eligibility depends on timing and the specific terms agreed upon during reservation.
4Drive Sri Lanka acts solely as a booking intermediary. We bear no responsibility for vehicle condition, mechanical failures, accidents, injuries, theft, or any damages occurring during the period of use. The supplier named in your voucher holds full operational and legal responsibility for the vehicle and associated services.
Insurance coverage, damage liability, and roadside assistance are provided by the supplier according to the terms in your voucher. You must address claims, disputes, or service issues directly with the supplier at 42 Galle Road, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka or via +94 11 234 8765.
We do not guarantee vehicle availability, specific model delivery, or supplier service quality. Information on our platform is provided in good faith but may be subject to change by suppliers without prior notice.
You must provide accurate information during booking and hold a valid driving licence recognised in Sri Lanka. You agree to comply with all local traffic laws, including left-hand traffic rules and speed limits of 50 km/h in towns and 70-100 km/h on expressways like the E03 to Bandaranaike International or the E01 to Galle.
You must not use our platform for unlawful purposes or provide fraudulent information. Any breach of these terms may result in booking cancellation without refund.
All content on the 4Drive Sri Lanka website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any material without written permission.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
